The Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) hosted its third annual Urban Ag Conference on February 14 at St. Paul College, bringing together urban farmers, professionals and community members for a day of connection, collaboration and learning.

The conference has become a place for urban farmers to come together and engage in sharing their stories, building relationships and exchanging ideas across their experiences. The day opened with peer networking sessions before heading into a series of breakout learning sessions. Participants in the breakouts covered topics ranging from long-term business planning and grassroots advocacy to soil health, land access, and practical techniques for extending the life of their produce.

As the conference continues to grow, the Minnesota Farm Bureau looks forward to supporting broader connections between urban and rural agriculture, helping to strengthen Minnesota’s agricultural community as a whole.
