Commodity Committee
Commodity advisory committees are appointed by the MFBF President and approved by the MFBF Board of Directors to surface and examine issues of concern, specific to that commodity, to producers throughout the geographic distribution of the Farm Bureau members who produce that commodity within Minnesota. There are eight MFBF commodity advisory committees: beef, dairy, equine, feed grains, sheep and goat, sugar, swine, and wood products. Members are appointed for one-year terms, but may serve multiple terms. Committees typically meet once per year.
