The young farmers toured McNeilus Steel, Inc; Seneca Foods; Four Daughters Vineyard & Winery; and the Red Barn Learning Center. The evening concluded with a stop at the Dodge County Fair to view the 9/11 Never Forget Exhibit.
“The Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee was happy to provide leadership opportunities for young farmers from across the state to learn about agriculture in southeastern Minnesota,” said MFBF YF&R Chair Pete Henslin. “It was also a great opportunity to strengthen personal leadership skills which can be applied in our rural communities.”
While in southeastern Minnesota, the MFBF YF&R Committee also met for their summer meeting on July 16.
