Minnesota Farm Bureau Foundation Raises Funds at Annual Auction

The Minnesota Farm Bureau (MFB) Foundation held their annual auction on November 21 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Bloomington. Nearly $25,000 was raised with proceeds going directly to the MFB Foundation. Funds will be used for programs focused on agricultural education, safety education and leadership development.

The MFB Foundation also announced the Paul Stark Memorial Scholarship fund during the auction, raising nearly $15,000 for this fund through the generosity of individuals and county Farm Bureaus.

Other MFB Foundation fundraisers include the pork chop stand at Farmfest and the annual golf scramble held at the River Oaks Golf Course in Cottage Grove.

The MFB Foundation’s mission is to provide opportunities for supporters of agriculture to invest in people and programs that promote agriculture. Examples of some of the programs currently funded include leadership training for farmer leaders, public outreach and education, educational resources for farmers and county farm bureaus and more.
