Minnesota Farm Bureau Achieves Membership Growth

Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) has achieved an overall membership gain for 2014. With over 3% gain in total membership, MFBF has also gained “Navigator” status from the American Farm Bureau Federation.

“Thank you to everyone who helped us to reach our goal of a membership increase. By joining the Farm Bureau, members help us speak with one voice for agriculture,” said MFBF President Kevin Paap. “Whether we speak to elected officials, the media or our children’s classrooms, coming together to represent agriculture is essential for rural America.”

By working together, Farm Bureau volunteers, staff and Farm Bureau Financial Services staff and agents were able to achieve this goal. Many of the 78 county/regional Farm Bureaus achieved a membership gain.

The achievement will be celebrated at the MFBF 96th Annual Meeting to be held November 20-22 in Bloomington at the DoubleTree Hotel.
