Rather than taking a selfie in the Farm Bureau building, MFBF is challenging fairgoers to take a felfie (selfie with a farmer). Throughout the duration of the fair, Minnesota farmers from across the state will be volunteering at our building.
The rules are quite simple. First, take a picture with one of the Farm Bureau volunteers. Then, upload the image to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Lastly, tag Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) or Minnesota Farmers CARE and use the hashtag #MFBFfelfie to enter your picture into the drawing. After the fair, three winners will be chosen.
Fairgoers will have the opportunity to speak with a Minnesota farmer about farming today. MFBF will be giving away thermal lunch bags and hotdish recipe cards, featuring a recipe made from Minnesota crops. The virtual Ag Cab Lab – Combine will also be available for all ages to drive. The MFBF State Fair building is located at 1305 Underwood Street directly across from the Food Building and behind the giant slide.
