There will be four books given away throughout the two weeks. Each day of the fair will end with the drawing for a children’s book. These books offer children the opportunity to learn about farming, where food comes from, how honey is made and more!
MFBF will also be having a drawing for a rain barrel. While entering to win the barrel, learn how farmers have decreased their water usage in the past twenty years.
Finally, fairgoers will have the opportunity to speak with a Minnesota farmer about farming today. MFBF will be giving away thermal snack bags and hotdish recipe cards, featuring a recipe made from Minnesota crops. The virtual Ag Cab Lab – Combine will also be available for all ages to drive.
The MFBF State Fair building is located at 1305 Underwood Street, directly across from the Food Building and behind the giant slide.
