The Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) recently announced that Ruth Meirick has been hired as the director of the Minnesota Farm Bureau Foundation. She will be responsible for directing the activities of the Foundation, including fundraising and providing staff leadership for the MFBF Young Farmers & Ranchers and Promotion & Education Committees.
“I am very excited about the opportunity to work with the Minnesota Farm Bureau Foundation and provide guidance and leadership to our state committees,” said Meirick. “Working closely with programs I am passionate about is incredibly rewarding.”
Meirick most recently worked as the southeast area program director for the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation, working with 11 counties in southeast Minnesota. In addition, her professional experience includes working with Farm Bureau as the director of organization development, coordinator of the state Young Farmers & Ranchers program and Promotion & Education program and as an associate director of field services. Meirick resides in Kasson.
