Miles and Sarah Kuschel of Cass County were recently appointed to the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) Young Farmers & Ranchers (YF&R) Committee. The Kuschels will serve a two-year term and will be involved in planning the YF&R competitive events, identifying programs and potential speakers for the AFBF YF&R Leadership Conference and taking part in committee meetings.
“Our passion for Farm Bureau and agriculture has placed us into this leadership position,” said the Kuschels. “We are excited to bring our strengths to the national level.”
“Not only are the Kuschels strong leaders within Farm Bureau, they excel in other leadership roles,” said MFBF President Kevin Paap. “With their drive and abilities, I know they will be a great asset to the AFBF YF&R Committee.”
The Kuschels served on the Minnesota YF&R Committee from 2008-2011 and Miles served as the chair in 2011. They ranch with Miles’ parents and grandparents, along with their three children near Sebeka.
